Eligibility Criteria

Taking part in our 100-hour yoga teacher training course in Ubud is an opportunity open to all. You can join this yoga program regardless of your age and country of origin.

Beginners

This course will be appropriate for beginners as it does not require any previous yoga experience. The course has been designed to help people understand the basics of yoga including asanas, breathing, and mindfulness.

Aspiring Teachers

This program is great for those who are aspiring to be yoga teachers, as it helps you learn how to teach yoga and feel confident in your teaching skills.

Hatha yoga is one of the most ancient branches of yoga, with a history dating back over a thousand years. Sessions in Hatha Yoga Teacher Training are rooted in ancient practices that evolve your consciousness to a higher understanding.

Guide to Traveling to Bali

You can process your Visa on Arrival or e-Visa for Indonesia over the internet. Most citizens receive their visas quickly. After that, you will need to be sure to print it out and have it with you together with your passport. 

Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar) is the closest airport to Ubud within 1.5-2 hours.

  • Flight: You can take a flight to Denpasar and then call a cab to get to our yoga school or arrange your transfer beforehand with us.
  • Taxi: You can catch an airport cab straight on from Denpasar to Ubud.
  • Private Transfer: The private transfer can be pre-booked and paid in advance. 

We provide you with good quality taxi services at reasonable prices that include:

  • Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar as one of the locations of pickup/immediately after landing.
  • Ubud town center and nearby attractions.

We offer a free shuttle transfer from Ngurah Rai Airport in certain moments on your arrival date. 

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with two main weather seasons. From April to October, the weather is dry, allowing for sunny weather perfect for outdoor practices and temple visits. Rainy seasons start in November and continue until March, with frequent rains and we suggest you travel with rain gears.

Shops around the vicinity of the school for shopping for necessities, groceries, yoga gears as well as chemists and stores selling pharmacy drugs are available for you around the learning institute.

Indonesia uses type-C and type-F plugs with a voltage of 230 volts. Always remember to carry universal plugs. 

You can get the local SIM card at the Yaikina airport and in Ubud. You have to provide proof of identity through your passport to get the SIM card. We can also help get it for you right from the ashram.

How to Reach UBUD Yoga Ashram ?

By Air

The closest airport for arriving in Bali for our yoga teacher training school is Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) which is also the closest airport to our school. After arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport you will have the opportunity to either take a taxi or our shuttle transportation services to get to the ashram. The shuttle will leave from the airport according to a schedule on the day of your arrival. If needed you can arrange for your own private transportation service for a fee in advance.

By Road

You can also choose a taxi or private car service to transport you from the airport to the yoga teacher training school in Bali. A typical trip would involve 30 to 90 minutes of travel and the final cost depends on the pickup and drop off locations in Bali. We also will provide you the option for a paid transfer service at both points of transport.

By Scooter / Local Transport

When students arrive in Bali, they frequently rent scooters to ride to local beaches, temples and rice fields during their training. If you would like assistance locating a rental agency, we can assist you in finding a reputable rental partner upon request.
